Polymer Modifications: FAQ

Poly Mod Disclaimer

These options require the shaping, grinding, sanding, and polishing of factory designed parts. Stippling will be necessary after most of these modifications.
Colored polymers OFTEN react negatively to heat. Be advised that cerakoting will be necessary on colored polymers after the modifications/stippling.

Gen 1-3 Glock Hump Removal

The Glock grip reduction significantly reduces the overall depth of the grip on Glock platforms.  It provides the shooter, especially those with smaller hands, a huge increase in comfort and ability to reach and manipulate the controls of the gun.  It also changes the angle of the rear of the grip slightly to be more vertical, similar to 1911 style grips.

*Notes:

The use of “grip plugs”, magwells, or other devices designed to fit a factory grip will NOT be possible with this modification. Stippling and cerakote must be applied after having a grip reduction.  This is NOT included, and MUST be purchased separately.
